B Ichi Gaiden - Atsushi-Ya

Atsushi-Ya, setting of Gaiden

B. Ichi Gaiden consists of various short stories set in Atsushi-Ya, known in the very first story as "a lovely bar where those who peek in on the adventures of Shotaro and friends gather for a drink."[1] This description changes with each chapter.

As the name of Atsushi-Ya implies, the collection of short stories serves as commentary from the creator of B. Ichi, Atsushi Ōkubo, delivered through his author avatar, Usher.

These stories are available in the four collected volumes of B. Ichi and continue in Ōkubo's subsequent manga, Soul Eater and Soul Eater NOT!

GAIDEN StoriesEdit

TriviaEdit

  • Atsushi-Ya would go on to appear later in volumes of Ōkubo's subsequent manga, Soul Eater and Soul Eater NOT!, before Usher destroyed it in the last volume of NOT![2]
